ahh the first of february. sure, it doesn’t generate nearly as much enthusiasm as it’s new years rival, but who says it can’t it be just as liberating and riddled with aspiration? i don’t know, i just have a feeling about this month…what with all the award shows (and the next day jabber of the Fashion Police on E!), a day entirely devoted to overly priced boxes of chocolates, and the staged drama that escalates every monday night on The Bachelor…it’s just brimming with potential. So, in honor of february the first i have categorized some brand new challenges.

over the next week or so:

• do some work narrowing down potential new cameras and photography classes (i have my eye on this Canon)
• notice (and jot down) inspiration found in the everyday 
• try a new cuisine (perhaps persian or korean…) 

for the month:

• read (at least) four books
• develop a solid rough draft on the short story i’m working on…
• organize my room into a more manageable space (finally unpack all my boxes of clothes…)
